Northwood’s Airlifeline is a non-profit organization of volunteers that includes community members and pilots from Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and northeast Wisconsin who donate their time and aircraft to help patients and their families with urgent medical needs for services not found locally.  Since founding in 1989, over 3000 missions have been flown with destinations such as Lower Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Illinois, all at no cost to the individuals.

Northwood’s Airlifeline helps meet the needs of individuals who are financially distressed, unable to travel by other means, or under severe time constraints.  The most urgent flights involve transplant cases, since there is no transplant centers in the Upper Peninsula and the window of opportunity to perform the procedure is small.  These are among the many logistical gaps in medical care that Northwood’s attempts to fill.

Your sponsorship of this event is an opportunity to collaborate with Northwood’s Airlifeline to help them continue to provide their services to the residents of the U.P. of Michigan and N.E. Wisconsin.   By supporting this event, you will not only be supporting a great cause but also spreading your company name to hundreds of potential customers.  It is an opportunity to link your company name to two of the most well-known and respected names in the area:  the Green Bay Packers and Northwood’s Airlifeline. We will be working with media outlets throughout the area to successfully promote this great community event and acknowledge your company’s sponsorship.

Along with monetary donations, we are also accepting in-kind donations, door prizes, and auction items to be used to ensure the success of this event.  The sponsorship and advertising deadline is February 17th,  If you have any questions or want to arrange your contribution, please call Teresa Louys at(906) 396-4148 or Julie Olson at (906) 396-8839 or e-mail Teresa at info@northwoodsairlifeline.org
